About Me

Doing the Work, Loving the Ride.

Hi, I’m Leigh—the President, Co-Founder and COO of CL Visual, designer by background and someone who’s passionate about building things that matter.

My path has always been about creating from the ground up—businesses, brands and teams shaped by the belief that how you build is just as important as what you build. Whether it’s CL Visual or the other ventures I’m part of, the work may look different, but the principles stay the same: lead with intention, act with integrity and pay attention to the details that make the difference.

From Hustle To Here And Still Moving

When I started CL Visual alongside my business partner, Chris DeFeo, we went all in. We didn’t have a roadmap or a blueprint—just an idea, a lot of grit and a commitment to figure things out along the way. And there’s been a lot to learn: about leadership, about trust, about what it really means to grow with the thing you’re building.

Today, most of what I do happens behind the scenes—and I like it that way. There’s a quiet kind of beauty in watching the dots connect, seeing systems take shape and trusting the people around me to carry the work further than I could alone. I’ve also learned to lean on the numbers as much as my intuition, letting data sharpen the decisions that move things forward.

Leading a woman-owned business in a space where that’s still the exception has influenced how I lead—by creating space for others to step up, lead boldly and do things differently with confidence.

What We Build Builds Us

Starting CL from scratch—without much more than determination and the willingness to learn—has made every step of the journey meaningful. The challenges, the wins, the lessons along the way have shaped both the business and the person I’ve become through it.

I’ve learned that real growth isn’t about chasing a finish line—it’s about being present where you are while embracing what comes next. I lead with intention, lean into self-awareness and stay grounded in purpose no matter how fast things move. Because having a vision is one thing. But holding onto it, evolving it, building from it and sharing it so others can benefit along the way—that’s where the real value is found.

Beyond Business

Making a positive impact has always mattered to me—whether it’s lending time, resources, or creating space for others to give back in their own way. At the end of the day, how we show up for others matters just as much as what we achieve.

I’m also someone who’s learned how important it is to step back and enjoy the people and moments that make life full. I split my days between Long Island and Delray Beach, spending time with my husband, our dog, and the friends and family who keep me grounded.

I take the work seriously—but I never lose sight of the joy, connection and good times that make it all worthwhile.

Every Signature Tells a Story

Signing documents may seem like a formality, but for me, it’s a reflection of the commitment, clarity, and accountability I bring to every aspect of my work. It represents follow-through, thoughtful decision-making, and a dedication to doing things the right way. In every detail—big or small—I believe in leading with intention and integrity. These principles guide how I build relationships, make decisions, and move ideas into action. It’s never just about closing a deal—it’s about standing behind every word and showing up fully for the people and projects that matter.

Accountability is at the Core of that Process.

When I sign my name, I see it as more than a step in the workflow—it’s a personal commitment to uphold the standards I set for myself and those I lead. It’s a reminder that real leadership shows up in the follow-through, the unseen decisions, and the way we hold ourselves responsible long after the ink dries. That’s the kind of trust I aim to build in every partnership, every project, and every step forward.
