In fact, it often helps. We can each do what we need to do during the day and still be together, supporting each other through busy moments or stressful meetings.

It’s a different rhythm than we’re used to in New York, and it has been so refreshing. That slower pace, the sound of the breeze through the palm trees, and just being outside most of the year have made a real difference in how we feel.

Even our dog travels with us every time, and honestly, we think she may love it here even more than we do. She’s settled right into the sunshine and slower pace like she’s been waiting for it all along. The town itself is incredibly dog friendly, which is always a plus and makes exploring together that much more enjoyable.

Spending time with loved ones here and reconnecting with friends who now live in Florida has made the experience even more meaningful.
